Jill Jordan

Chief Executive Officer

Jill brings more than 20 years of inpatient rehabilitation expertise to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs. She has been employed by HealthSouth since 1994 and has served in various roles. From 1997 until 2000 she was director of nursing/patient care services of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Montgomery. From 2000 until 2003 she was the chief executive officer for Van Matre Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture between Rockford Health System and HealthSouth. In 2003 Jill became the CEO for Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture between Columbus Regional Health and HealthSouth and remained in that position until 2015 when she became chief executive officer of HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs.

Ashley Collier, RHIA

Director of Health Information Management

Ashley is the director of health information management services and the HIPAA privacy officer at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs. She has more than six years of experience in the health information management field including the OB/GYN and acute inpatient rehabilitation settings. She joined HealthSouth in 2010 having worked at Treasure Coast Rehabilitation Hospital in Vero Beach, Fla. and in HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital at Martin Health in Stuart, Fla. Ashley is a graduate of Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University with a bachelor’s degree in health information management. She is an active member of the American Health Information Management Association and Central Florida Health Information Management Association.

Matthew Dieter, Pharm.D

Director of Pharmacy

Matthew Dieter is the director of pharmacy for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs. He has over 16 years of experience in the hospital pharmacy setting; including inpatient rehabilitation, long-term acute care, and small community hospitals. His professional interests and expertise include the areas of infectious disease, anticoagulation, and nutrition. Matt earned his doctorate of pharmacy degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla. He is a member of FSHP (Florida Society of Health-System Pharmacists), and is active with the American Heart Association.Matt's goal is to provide comprehensive, quality care to the patients he serves.

Leigh Gardner, M.S.

Director of Quality and Risk Management

Leigh is the director of quality and risk management for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs. She has over 13 years of experience in quality management and program evaluation including quality of care, research design, data analysis, and performance improvement. Leigh earned her Master of Science degree in Psychology from San Diego State University, Calif. She is a member of the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ), and a certified member of Therapy Dogs, Inc. with her cocker spaniel, Tootsie. Leigh’s goal is to utilize her training in social science and psychology to support the HealthSouth team in providing the safest and highest quality of care to our patients.

Samuel Minehart

Controller

Sam is the controller for HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs. He has over 20 years experience in financial and business operations within the healthcare industry, most recently for the nation’s leader in retail healthcare services. Prior to that, he worked as a controller for HealthSouth Western Hills Rehabilitation Hospital in Parkersburg, W.Va.

Stephanie Morrell RN, BSN, CRRN

Chief Nursing Officer

Stephanie is the chief nursing officer (CNO) at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs. Stephanie has 17 years of experience in healthcare; including in depth clinical background in cardiology, orthopedics, med-surg, and pediatrics. She has spent the past 10 years of her career in hospital administration with the last four years serving as the CNO for the HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Southwest Virginia. Stephanie has a certification in medical surgical nursing through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a Certified Registered Rehabilitation Nurse. She received her Bachelor of Science in nursing through East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, Tenn.

Candy Schoenle

Administrative Supervisor

Candy is the administrative supervisor and medical staff coordinator at HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Altamonte Springs. Candy joined HealthSouth in April, 2014. Her background consists of over 26 years experience in office management, events planning and fundraising. Candy has been a notary republic for over 20 years and was an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Her volunteer activities include serving as president of the Lilac TWIG Association.

Tom Schoenle

Director of Plant Operations

Tom Schoenle, director of plant operations, joined HealthSouth in April of 2013, opening the new HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital at Martin Health in Stuart, Fla. He transferred in May 2014 to Altamonte Springs to open this new hospital. Tom has over 21 years experience in plant operations in an acute care hospital as well as seven years experience working in a geriatric psychological hospital in New York. Tom graduated from Erie Community College in Buffalo N.Y. with an Associate of Science in building management and maintenance. Tom is a member of the American Society of Healthcare Engineers as well as a member of the Florida Healthcare Engineering Association.
