Mary Lynn Swartz brings more than 20 years of executive healthcare experience to HealthSouth. Mary Lynn graduated and received her RN from Christ Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, Ohio; her bachelor’s degree in health services from Ottawa University in Kansas City; and her master’s degree in executive medical management from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. Mary Lynn’s nursing experience includes emergency and trauma services and her executive roles as CNO, COO, and CEO in acute care hospitals in South Florida prior to her appointment as the CEO for HealthSouth. In addition, Mary Lynn serves as an active board member for the Can’t Stomach Cancer Foundation and the American Heart Association.
